A link, not just a nearby station, at Lucerne Grand
Most condominium listings quote a walking time to the nearest MRT station. Lucerne Grand is described by City Developments Limited as directly linked to Lakeside MRT station (EW26) on the East-West Line, which is a different proposition. A direct link means the trip to a train can be made largely under cover, which matters on a wet afternoon or after a long day. It is a convenience that applies to every household, from the school-run parent to the shift worker.
What the line connects from Lucerne Grand
Boon Lay is one stop west of Lakeside and Jurong East is two stops east, and, according to LTA, both gain the Jurong Region Line from 2028. Buona Vista, six stops east, connects to the Circle Line. For a household, that means a single walk to the station opens the East-West Line, with interchanges on either side that reach other parts of the island without a long journey on foot or by bus.
The ground floor below the Lucerne Grand homes
Lucerne Galleria, the commercial component at the first storey, holds nine units: a supermarket, four shops and four restaurants. For residents, that is groceries and a meal out within the same address. The five blocks of 17 storeys rise above it, at 30, 32, 34, 36 and 38 Lakeside Drive, with 570 homes in total and sizes from 624 to 1,432 square feet across two- to four-bedroom layouts, including premium types with an entertainment room.
The district around Lucerne Grand
The site sits between Boon Lay Way and Lakeside Drive in District 22, a short stroll from Jurong Lake Gardens, and inside the Jurong Lake District that URA is planning as Singapore's largest business district outside the city centre. A buyer who works in the area may find the commute reduced to a short walk or a single stop, while one who works in the city centre has a direct line east. The location page sets out the station distances and surroundings.

Reading the Lucerne Grand convenience in context
Transport convenience is one factor among several. Lease length, price, unit size and the buyer's own plans carry equal weight, and none of them is settled by a station link. Areas and figures are estimates from the developer, subject to final survey. Anyone who wants to see the layouts or discuss the specifics can reach the sales team through the contact page.
